As Fiat Chrysler shifts its production priorities away from cars and toward more profitable SUVs and trucks, CEO Sergio Marchionne is reportedly looking for a partner to develop future generations of this compact sedan. That’s probably for the best. Despite a size advantage (it measures in as a mid-size car by federal standards) the Dart is uncompetitive against today’s impressive field of like-priced compacts, and has achieved little sales success since arriving in 2012.
